Steps to find photos with manual options in Windows 10

First of all, you should know that photos are saved in different places on your computer, depending on the source. In most cases, Windows stores photos in the "My Pictures" folder. Many services that sync data try to keep the photos in that folder.

However, iCloud, OneDrive and Dropbox will all have pictures stored in their own folders. Likewise, if you transfer and save images from devices connected directly to your computer, it is possible that they will be saved in different places and you will not remember them. Now, if you download photos from the Internet, they will be saved in the "Downloads" folder.

Now, if you have the time and patience, the two places you should start from are the "Pictures" folder and the "Downloads" folder. These folders can be found via "Quick Access" located in the left panel. They will be in a File Explorer window.
