File Explorer (commonly known as Windows Explorer) opens by default in Quick Access in Windows 10. As you probably know, Quick Access shows all recently used files and frequently used folders for users to quickly access files. recently used and frequently opened folders without having to go to their original location.
While quick sign-in is a useful feature, you may sometimes want to delete your quick sign-in history to protect your privacy. While you can prevent Quick Access from showing frequently used folders and recently used files, you may want to simply clear the history instead of turning off the feature.
Fortunately, there is an option to clear quick login history without using third-party cleaners like CCleaner. You can clear your quick login history with just a few mouse clicks.
When you delete Quick Access and File Explorer history, the operation removes all recently used file and folder entries from Quick Access.
Two ways to delete quick logon history in Windows 10
Follow the instructions in one of the methods below to clear the quick logon history in Windows 10.

Step 1: Open Quick Access or This PC by clicking the File Explorer icon in the system tray or by clicking the File Explorer icon on the left side of the Start menu.
Tip: You can set File Explorer to open on this PC instead of Quick Access.
Step 2: In File Explorer, click Archive, archive menu and then click Change folder and search options to open Folder Options.
Step 3: Under the General Folder Options tab, under the file Privacy Click the button labeled Clear to delete Windows Explorer and Quick Access History in Windows 10.

You can quickly clear your quick access history by turning the feature on or off. Here's how to do it.
Step 1: Open the classic control panel by typing Control Panel on the taskbar or Start menu search box, then press the Enter key.
Tip: There are five ways to open the Control Panel in Windows 10.
Step 2: Change control panel Seen from for small icons, as shown in the image below.
Step 3: Search for the marked entry File Explorer Optionsthen click to open the Folder Options dialog box.
Step 4: On the General tab of Folder Options, uncheck the labeled options Show recently used files in Quick Access is Show recently used folders in Quick Access.
Click on To apply button.
Step 5: Check the boxes labeled Show recently used files in Quick Access is Show frequently used folders in Quick Access.
Click on To apply button. The quick login history should now be cleared.
Tip: Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F1 to quickly show or hide the Explorer ribbon.
