How to uninstall individual Office 365 apps from Windows 10


It's no secret that when we install the Office 365 Home / Office 365 personal plan, the typical applications of the program are integrated. However, once the package is installed on your computer, you may want to uninstall applications you don't use. If this is the case for you, you are in the right place, because in this post we will tell you what you should do to uninstall individual Office 365 applications.

Unfortunately, newer versions of the Office 365 suite don't give you the ability to uninstall individual apps. In other words, there's no way to uninstall programs you don't use.

However, through the Microsoft Office 365 suite available within windows 10 shop, you can do this procedure. In short, you will be able to uninstall Office Access without affecting the rest of the Office applications.

To achieve this, you simply have to follow the instructions that we describe below. This way, you will be able to uninstall individual Office 365 apps on Windows 10 computers.

Note- Note that when Office 365 is installed outside the Store you cannot uninstall individual apps. However, this method can also be used to uninstall other tools from the Office 365 package. That said, you can now take note of the following instructions:

  • First of all, you will open the application and go to the settings. Then you have to navigate to Applications > Apps and features.
  • Next, you have to search for the Microsoft Office desktop applications section and then press it so that you can see the link that takes you to the Advanced options.

Note: In case the Microsoft Office desktop applications do not appear on the screen. It is likely that you installed the Office 365 package outside of the store. As we mentioned above, you can't uninstall individual Office apps that were installed outside the Windows Store.
