How to use UltraISO software to create a bootable USB flash drive
No doubt Ultra ISO is one of the best software available to create and burn ISO files. There are also options to create bootable CD / DVDs and edit ISO files in the software. But did you know that you can even use UltraISO software to create a bootable USB to install Windows 7 or Windows 8 from the USB flash drive?
Do you want to create a bootable Windows USB flash drive to install Windows without using DVD? Do you still use good UltraISO software to burn ISO files to CD or DVD? Then use UltraISO software to create a bootable USB flash drive in just a few clicks.
We know that there are many free alternatives available to create a bootable Windows USB flash drive. You can also use the command prompt to install Windows 7 or Windows 8 from the USB flash drive. But the purpose of this post is to introduce UltraISO users to the amazing features present in their favorite ISO burning software.
Here's how to use UltraISO software to create a bootable USB drive:
Step 1: I unload and install UltraISO software on your PC. Although UltraISO is paid software, you can download the 30-day free trial to make your USB bootable.
Step 2: The next step is to run the trial version of UltraISO with administrator rights. Right-click the UltraISO software shortcut on the desktop or the Start menu item and select the Run as administrator option. If the Sign Up Now screen appears, click the Continue button to try ... using the trial version.
Step 3: On the home screen, click Acts > To open option to switch to the Windows 7 or Windows 8 ISO file.
Step 4: Then, on the main UltraISO screen, click Start menu and then click write the disk image option to launch the Write Disc Image dialog.
Step 5: In the Write Disc Image dialog box, select the disc drive as a USB flash drive, select the writing method as USB-HDD before pressing the Format button. The Format Removable Disk dialog box will open, in which you just need to click Start to start formatting the flash drive. Back up all data on the USB device before pressing the button Format button.
Step 6: When formatting is complete, click to write and then click Yup for the warning message to start the process. When the registration is complete, the event list of the registration successful messages will be displayed. Close the UltraISO software and connect your USB to a machine to start the Windows installation.
