Instagram, learn to ignore an account without unfollowing it

Social networks are a trend today, they are used by millions of people every day. Now, as you know, there are some tricks that you can apply so that you can get the most out of them. On Instagram it is possible, fortunately, to ignore an account but it is not necessary to unfollow it. So it's a win you can easily do.

Tutorial time on Instagram

1.- The first thing you have to do is open the Instagram app on your mobile phone. Now go to IG users home page. Click the 3 dots button in the upper right corner of the window. Simply follow the instructions that we will show you on the screenshot.

2.- This step is very simple, you just have to choose "Silence", that's all.

3.- Finally, it's just a matter of choosing the following options: "Silence posts", "Ignore stories" or you can choose "Silence posts and stories". It all really depends on what you need.

You have now completed the whole tutorial, it only took you a couple of minutes. Now you won't see any of the posts and you can visit the Instagram homepage or main account page as normal. You have finally managed to free yourself from those photos and information that no longer interest you. So you can keep your account free of any information you don't like.
